When I first started GTA V, I thought I was going to have to switch to third person because of how clunky the mechanics were.
Without it the game would have been unplayable for me. Are you saying that the experience of playing in FP in RDR2 is worse than it is in GTA V? I must make it clear that the only reason I was able to play GTA V-in any perspective-was the GTA V FoV utility. In ~2016 I happened to come across an article about the PC version of GTA V, and the first-person option was half of the reason I decided to buy the game. 60 FOV cap, mouse sens in 10 steps, rebinding keys hangs the game hard, clunky stiff movement, and cardboard horses when riding.
I refunded (among other issues.) cos the first person experience was so bad compared to other PC games.
